Everyday Makeup Essentials

I love makeup. Well, it’s kind of a love/hate situation…I love the creative freedom it allows and don’t get me started on the glow, but I’m not so big on what it can do to my pockets (lol). That’s why I rarely splurge on high-end makeup, but I do get excited when I find affordable products I love!

When it comes to getting ready for basic days, I like to keep my routine simple and my look natural. These products are some of my favorites and my everyday makeup essentials.

Eye primer: Wet n’ Wild PhotoFocus Eyeshadow Primer

Face primer: e.l.f. Beautifully Bare Luminous Matte Primer

Priming is a must before using anything on your skin. It’ll make your makeup look good for a longer time and it’ll keep the products in place. I can’t even begin to tell y’all how much I love the Wet n’ Wild Photofocus eyeshadow primer. It’s worked so well for me that I haven’t even tried anything else.

Eyes: BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Eyeshadow Palette

I always like to start with eyeshadow before moving on to the face whether it’s for a natural look or glam. That way you can always wipe off any eyeshadow that may have ended up on your cheeks or anywhere else without messing up foundation applied. I just like to add a neutral color in the crease to add some depth to my eyes, nothing too drastic.

Face: BH Cosmetics Forever Nude Illuminating BB Cream

Concealer: Maybelline Age Rewind Eraser

This BB Cream is fantastic for an everyday look! It makes your skin glow and healthy looking. And of course, the concealer is great for covering up undereye circles or unwanted blemishes. Both are pretty lightweight so you won’t get that feeling like you’re wearing pounds of product on your face.

Blush: e.l.f. Matte Blush Duo in Rosy Flush

Bronzer: Wet n’ Wild Coloricon Bronzer in Ticket to Brazil

Highlighter: Wet n’ Wild Megaglo in Precious Petals

Even on those simple days, I like to add a little more dimension to my look by using these products above sparingly. The blush and the highlighter are my absolute favorites. The pigmentation on the highlighter is ahmazing, me encanta!

Mascara: Rimmel London Super Curler & Clinique High Impact mascara

You can never forget to add a little mascara to those lashes! If there is any product I could not live without it would be mascara. It just helps me look more awake and alive. I like to use two different mascaras because I find that it helps add volume to them. Honestly, I am not very picky about which one(s) I use, whatever I have at the time being is usually good for me. These two though, have definitely impressed me & I’ll keep in my bag for a while.

Face: Almay Smart Shade Pressed Powder (to set that concealer!) & Wet n’ Wild PhotoFocus Setting Spray

Lastly, to finish off any look you’ve gotta set it all in place. Just lightly dab some pressed powder wherever you used concealer and then use the setting spray all over the face. This setting spray smells lovely and feels so refreshing on the skin.

Y ahi esta! You’ve got all the essentials to look as radiant and beautiful as you are (without breaking the bank). Now go slay the day hermosas!

Yesi
